You must know how to swim, be in good physical form, be between 1.50 m and 2.00 m tall and not weigh more than 100 kg. Minimum of 2 people to do the activity.

In the case of participants who do not meet these requirements, we recommend you doing a guided touring kayak trip so that our guides can assess whether you are prepared. They will also provide with you with basic training in safety and useful advice for your tour. Participants with no previous experience may only choose to do an EASY level route.
The various stages are planned to cover an average of 20 km a day, representing between four and seven hours of paddling. These times will greatly depend on the state of the sea and your curiosity.
Try out and experiment before your tour with a four-hour guided route at 50% of its price.
- Individual RAINBOW Laser 515 / Oasis 425 touring kayak with watertight compartments.
- Lifejacket, technical touring paddle, spray skirt and 2 waterproof bags (per person).
- Detachable paddle, draining pump and towing cable (per group).
- Transport service to the beginning and/or end of the route. ( CENTRO and CAP DE CREUS route, transport supplement)
- Exclusive aquatic plan of the route on which you will find the beaches and campsites for bivouacs or camping, the best bays and sea caves, "Coastal Path” walking routes, points of assistance or collection and other information of interest.

If you do not have what is needed to spend the night or to cook, we can rent it before you start the route. The bivouac pack includes: Sleeping bag, self-inflating insulating sheet, tent (for two people), stove (for two people), casseroles, plates, glasses and cutlery (the gas canister is not included).

You must contact TRANSBRAVA in advance to check out availability and to tell us about your previous experience in a sit-inside sea kayak. Once the route and date have been agreed on, you will have to make a transfer of €100 per person as a booking fee. The remaining amount is to be paid on the day the tour starts.
Before departure, and to guarantee the material rented, you must provide one credit card number per group and your authorisation to charge the amount in the case of returning the material damaged or losing it.
The last date to be able to cancel the tour is seven days before the departure date, in which case 100% of the booking fee will be returned. Should you cancel after this date or not turn up on the agreed day, we will understand that you have renounced the service and the booking fee will not be returned.
In the case of inclement weather or an unfavourable weather forecast, Transbrava reserves the right to cancel or interrupted the routes to guarantee the safety of participants. In this case, a close date agreed by both parties will be found or, if this is not possible, the full booking fee will be returned.
We receive all participants at our base on Fenals Beach in Lloret de Mar, where we will give a short briefing about the route, and will hand out the personal and group material. Before leaving, participants will sign a document stating they have received the necessary material in perfect condition and that they have suitable knowledge to carry out this activity under their own responsibility. The starting point and the direction of the tours may depend on the wind forecast over the forthcoming days, if there are changes in the route, they will be confirmed two days in advance.
Should any members of the group withdraw, there must be a minimum of two people for the tour to continue. Should only one participant remain, they will have to abandon the idea. Collecting one or more members who withdraw when the group continues will have a total cost of €100 for the section between Fenals and L’Escala and of €150 if it is further north than L’Escala. If the collection is due to an accident or illness, there will be no extra cost. Should the group withdraw, the tour will be considered to have been finished and the collection will be only from one of the points previously indicated on the tour map. If more than 50% of the route contracted has been carried out, there will be no right to any return on the amount paid, nor the option to complete it on a future date.
If it is envisaged that it will not be possible to reach the end destination on the stages agreed, new days may be added after communication and if the availability of kayaks so permits. The extra days of the tour shall be charged at the corresponding rate.

Along almost all the route there will be mobile and 4G coverage. At all times, the entrances and exits of beaches marked off with boys shall be respected, as well as any indications from the beach guards. The author of any imprudent action shall be held responsible for it. There is a number to contact TRANSBRAVA 24 hours a day in the case of any incident. Each day, on finishing the stage, we advise you to inform us where you are and how things went. We, in turn, will give you the weather forecast for the following day and useful recommendations for the next stage.
